ABOUT OVATION MUSIC & STUDIOS
Ovation Music & Studios storefront at 107 E Main St., Gallatin, TN
Locally owned. Musician-run. Rooted in Gallatin.
Our Story
Ovation Music & Studios started in 2007 with one idea: music is better when you play it with people who care. Nearly 20 years later, that idea still drives everything we do.
For the past 11 years we've been at home on East Main Street in historic downtown Gallatin. We've watched kids walk in holding their first guitar and walk out years later as confident performers, songwriters and bandmates.
We're not a franchise or a chain. Ovation is a locally owned, family-run music school, and when you call or walk in, you're talking to people who know your name and care about your progress.
"At Ovation, success isn't just learning a song. It's building the confidence, skills, and love of music that keep you playing for life."

More Than Lessons
Private lessons are where it starts, but it's not where it ends. At Ovation, students:
- Learn from working musicians. Our instructors write, record and perform, and they bring that real-world experience into every lesson.
- Play in a real band. RockShop puts students together with other players, guided by experienced mentors, to rehearse and perform live at local venues, including Gallatin's historic Palace Theatre.
- Start young, for free. Little Rockers is our free music-and-movement class for children 5 and under, every Tuesday at 11:15 AM.
- Record their music. Our recording studio is here for students, songwriters and bands ready to capture their sound.
- Find the right gear. We carry instruments, amps, strings and accessories, offer repairs, and help every student get set up with an instrument that fits.
Meet the Team
Our instructors cover guitar, piano, voice, drums, bass, violin and fiddle, mandolin, cello, ukulele, saxophone and songwriting, with styles ranging from rock and country to bluegrass, jazz and classical.
